I posted a thorough review of that flawed study of supernovae to the Electric Universe Theory Group in January.
Rather copying that long text here, here is a link to my archive of that post, for anyone interested in my critique.
I remain astounded they found a collection of variable stars, no supernovae, and drew their false conclusions from their luminosity curves. The paper even proudly declares how consistent they are.
A supernova is supposed to be a cataclysmic event but they accepted gradual declines with no abrupt peak. That is not what I expect from a supernova.
They also treated the change in the Cepheid-like thermal spectrum, which reveals its periodic temperature cycle, as a red shift.
This paper is an abomination.
The Perlmutter pdf is linked at the end of the post.
